NITISH DE RAMDUNY is an Associate Solicitor, who joined Garth Coates Solicitors in March 2016, having qualified to practice law in July 2013.  He is qualified in multiple legal disciplines including Corporate and Private Immigration, Commercial Law, Civil Litigation and Dispute Resolution, Employment Law and Administrative and Public Law.  

Nitish’s wide-ranging immigration expertise and comprehensive understanding of Immigration Law enables him to advise private and high-net-worth clientele, SMEs and multinational companies on all UK immigration solutions. His encyclopaedic knowledge of Commercial, Employment and Administrative and Public Law enables him to provide a holistic approach to clients whose complex legal matters involve a combination of factors.  

Nitish is a very successful litigator, having overturned Home Office refusals, including 10-year re-entry bans, suspensions and revocations of Sponsor Licences, in the First-Tier and Upper-Tier Tribunals,  as well as conducting other complex court cases stemming from immigration and other matters. On clients’ behalf, he has also successfully litigated and negotiated on the costs proceedings arising from court cases. 

Nitish is skilled at advising businesses on global mobility, auditing, compliance and the prevention of illegal working provisions and all matters arising from Sponsorship of migrant workers. He is also extremely well-versed in the specifics of the Points Based System including entry clearance, extension and Indefinite Leave to Remain, as well as Family Reunion visas and British Citizenship.

He has developed and maintained enduring business and clientele relationships within the EMEA market.  He has travelled internationally for the firm and assisted clientele on a global basis. Nitish has written articles which have been published in various International media outlets and for marketing purposes, including Forbes magazine and Bloomberg.

In 2019, Nitish was shortlisted for the Rising Star Award at the 25th Asian Legal Awards.
