Funds required for PBS applications will be increased from 14 June 2012

From 14 June 2012, the personal savings the Point Based System applicants must have to support their applications will increase.
If you plan to make a PBS Visa application on or after 14 June 2012 (6 April 2012 for the TIER 5 Youth mobility scheme), you must ensure the correct funds are held in your account as soon as possible.FOR TIER 1:
The personal savings you must have to support your application will increase as below:Tier 1 applicants - entry clearance:
£3,100Tier 1 applicants - already in the UK:
£900Dependents of Tier 1 applicants who have been in the UK for less than 12 months:
£1,800Dependents of Tier 1 applicants - all other applications:
£800FOR TIER 5:
The change will take place from 14th June 2012. If it is Youth Mobility Scheme, the change will start from 6th April 2012.
For all TIER 5 subcategories (except Youth Mobility Scheme) you must provide a bank document which shows that you have had at least £900 in your account at all times over the 90-day period.
For Youth Mobility Scheme, you need to show a balance of £1800 in your bank account and there is not a period of time you need to keep the money in the account.FOR TIER 2:
